In 2025, our wood fired outdoor ovens made a firey entrance.

We moved our wood-fired cooking equipment including pizza ovens, portable grills, and fire beacons, out of our factory and testing sites and into the hands of chefs, content creators, caterers across the UK.

This is the moment that every product developer knows well. 

You have created products that you fully believe in but it only counts once it’s been judged by others.

Here’s how 2025 went …

Were our Firevoré Outdoor Ovens Chef-worthy?

We wanted honest opinions, so we initially went straight to people who cook with fire every day.

Our outdoor wood-fired ovens have been on validation test with various chefs including Marcus Bawdon (UK BBQ School), Ben Chamberlain (Wild / The Bull at Burford), Oli from Santina’s, and Paul and Heather from Love Logs.

The chef’s feedback has been consistently positive and included being impressed by build quality, great cooking versatility, and the all important heat retention. All are known critical performance factors for outdoor wood-fired ovens, or any other form of high quality cooking gear.

The FireCamper Portable Grill Public Review

Our FireCamper portable grill also launched this year and was reviewed by Damian from The Mud Life who wrote an article on the product. 

“It’s well thought out, simple to assemble, cooks beautifully, and packs down cleanly – what more do you need?”

Since the review, we’ve reduced the overall weight from 10 to 8 kg by replacing the original carry box with a bespoke manufactured durable carry bag featuring a very useful shoulder strap. A series of design updates have reduced the metal parts weight by over half a kilo. The new version will be officially released in the new year.

Our First Exhibitions

LakeFest was our first event, allowing us to showcase Firebrand heating and cooking products in a festival environment.

We created a chill-out zone for festival-goers and showcased our heating products in a live environment. 

The conversations, feedback, and atmosphere played a big part in our decision to launch the Firevoré oven soon after.

We also exhibited at Glee, a major UK garden and outdoor living trade show, introducing Firevoré products to retailers, buyers, and industry peers.

 

VE Day: Fire Beacons for the 80th Anniversary

On 8 May, our FireBeacons were used by county and parish councils across the country to help commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

The FireBeacon range of three sizes, the Spitfire, Hurricane, and Lancaster were designed with moments like this in mind.

We’re proud to see them used for celebrating and remembrance within public community gatherings as well as private residences.

We Fired Up the Socials 

This year, we spent more time sharing what we build, how we use it, and the people we collaborate with. Over 1,000 of you now follow along on Instagram, and we’ll be building on that momentum in 2026.

In 2026, we intend to share lots more outdoor cooking inspiration, product development updates, and live-fire cooking content across our social channels.

2025 was about listening, testing, and learning.
